Overview
Provided content strategy, SEO and UX copy review for VIRDI, Alva Technologies' automated property-valuation platform covering 1.7 million Norwegian homes, plus discovery-phase value-proposition work with the company's CEO.
Who This Is For
Global manufacturers, industrial groups, or B2B enterprises with 5,000-50,000+ employees operating across multiple markets and customer segments. Undertaking or planning a significant digital transformation requiring a content and digital strategy that spans marketing, sales, and service functions.
The Challenge
Alva Technologies' VIRDI product needed a stronger B2C value proposition, and its live website copy needed sharper headlines, SEO structure and trust-building content to convert visitors evaluating one of the largest financial decisions in their lives, buying a home.
Our Approach
In the discovery phase, the team now behind ECM.DEV planned and ran a stakeholder interview with the company's outgoing CEO to map the customer journey, business model and value propositions for both the B2B and B2C markets. They then reviewed VIRDI's live website copy page by page, leaving direct editorial comments: sharpening the homepage headline, recommending anonymised accuracy examples to build trust, pushing for neighbourhood-level rather than city-level keyword targeting for SEO, and recommending infographics and structured FAQ formatting to explain the platform's machine-learning valuation model.
Impact
The review gave a fast-growing proptech platform, covering roughly 70% of Norway's housing stock and used by banks and real estate chains, sharper, more trust-building website copy grounded in specific SEO and UX recommendations rather than generic advice.

Dries Buytaert: The cost of running multiple CMS platforms
Dries Buytaert argues that running multiple CMS platforms creates hidden operational costs through duplicated integrations, security policies, expertise, and governance. He proposes standardizing on Drupal while using different operating models—SaaS (Acquia Source) for speed and PaaS (Acquia Cloud) for control—to preserve flexibility while reducing fragmentation.
