Overview
Managed a multi-writer content production project rewriting Norvestor Equity's entire website: team biographies, 35+ portfolio company investment profiles, and exit case studies, personally writing key pages and coordinating a team of freelance writers.
The Challenge
Norvestor Equity, a leading Nordic private equity firm, needed its website's entire body of copy rebuilt: biographies for over 30 team members, profiles for every current and historic portfolio investment, and polished exit case studies, delivered against a tight production schedule.
What We Propose
Russell managed the end-to-end content production project across November and December 2018, tracking scope and progress across roughly 80 individual content pieces. He personally wrote the About Us page, the team introduction, several of the most significant investment profiles (including Intelecom, Abax and Aptilo), and all four flagship exit case studies (Abax, Cegal, NCR and Sortera), while coordinating a team of freelance writers, sourced and paid via Upwork, who delivered the remaining team bios and portfolio company profiles through structured drafting and review rounds.
Why It Matters
The project delivered a complete, professionally written rebuild of Norvestor's website content across its team, portfolio and case-study sections, on a defined production schedule, through a managed mix of personal writing and coordinated freelance delivery rather than a single overworked in-house effort.
This work was delivered while Russell was employed at Making Waves/NoA, working as project lead and copywriter on Norvestor Equity's website content production. Any public information referenced here is used for identification and does not imply endorsement.

Dries Buytaert: The cost of running multiple CMS platforms
Dries Buytaert argues that running multiple CMS platforms creates hidden operational costs through duplicated integrations, security policies, expertise, and governance. He proposes standardizing on Drupal while using different operating models—SaaS (Acquia Source) for speed and PaaS (Acquia Cloud) for control—to preserve flexibility while reducing fragmentation.
